Where to go for New Year’s Eve dinner!

Though Christmas is officially over, we still have a lot to look forward to. Namely, New Year’s Eve and all the fun that comes with that. Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends or just having a quiet night in, you’ll need to eat dinner! We like going all out for New Year’s Eve dinner because it’s the last night of the year to indulge ourselves before we start 2015 by going back to the gym…gulp.

Here’s where to have the last best meal of 2014:

Pearl King, Toronto

Dim sum. That’s all we need to tell about Pearl King, because it’s one of the best places in Toronto to get your dim sum fix. This King West hotspot only opened up last summer, but it’s become a very popular spot for pre- and post-event drinks. For those familiar with the dim sum scene in Toronto, Pearl King is a new outpost of the much-loved Pearl Harbourfront (also in Toronto).

Kama Classical Indian Cuisine, Toronto

This restaurant is named after the Indian Goddess of Love, Kama. We don’t know about you but love is pretty much all we feel when we eat some good butter chicken, so the name is very appropriate. There are a large variety of dishes to choose from, all based on different areas in India – including Bombay Aloo and Madras Chicken Curry.

Vicinity members: earn one point for every time you come for the buffet, or two points per dish when you order a la carte. Those points can be redeemed for a free lunch buffet or a dish off the menu when ordering a la carte.

Oysi Oysi, Vancouver

What better way to end the year than with some sushi? Even if you have some friends in your party who don’t like the idea of ringing in the New Year with raw fish, there’s noodles, rice and other dishes to choose from on the menu. Or if you’re looking to spend a night in and not go out for dinner, then order a few party trays and you’re set!

Vicinity members: earn one point for every $5 spent, and redeem those points for various items off the menu, like soup or sushi rolls.
