Binders? Check. Warm hoodies? Check. Student ID? Check. Vicinity Rewards card? Better check that off this week because we’re coming to YOUR campus with Vicinity cards and tons of prizes!
If you’re a student at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus, Queen’s University or McMaster University, we’ll be hosting campus events in the next couple weeks to introduce you to the Vicinity program and show you how you can earn rewards (and what student doesn’t like free stuff?).
First, we’ll be at McMaster University this Thursday, September 4th for the SideWalk Sale, and then we’ll be at University of Toronto’s Streetfest on September 9th. Come out for a chance to win some cool Vicinity prizes!
SmartDrug Pharmacy will also be out and about signing up students to Vicinity at Queen’s University for the Street Sale on Friday September 5th. If you’re unfamiliar with Vicinity Rewards, it’s essentially a way to get free stuff by shopping at local retailers. We’re not kidding – no loopholes, no weird contract terms, no muss, no fuss!
It’s really simple: sign up for a FREE Vicinity rewards card, grab a bite to eat, get your nails done, buy new things at one of our merchants, and earn points. Yup, that’s right – you’ll get points for stuff you’re already buying. After you’ve accumulated enough points, you’ll be able to redeem them for free things at those merchants. Love coffee? You can rack up enough points for a free cuppa joe at Dark Horse Espresso Bar with 10 points in less than two weeks. It’s THAT easy.
Speaking of easy, once you visit our tent and sign up for your FREE Vicinity card you can spin our wheel o’ prizes at our booth or snap a picture to post on Twitter and you’ll be entered for a chance to win some sweet prizes like beer cozies, phone wallets, sunglasses and other stuff. You could even win a wicked Marshall Fridge (a $449.99 value!)
